A completely new set of elements has been designed for the 2002 performance. Artistically, it was felt that the old elements - which referenced architectural details of the performance venue in Sydney - were not appropriate for the venues in France. In addition, new designs could incorporate more efficient construction methodologies developed during the Bambu Restaurant project.

| The basic dimensions of the elements have not been altered. All stand 3.9 meters tall, are 2.4 meters wide and are up to 1.5 meters deep. | |

Each element has a 'partner' - inviting the performers to experiment with new choreographic options. On the other hand it should facility the transport between the two venues.

| The 'irregular' side of the elements can be arranged in such a way that neighbouring elements 'connect' to form a visual unit.
